I’m just an ordinary person about to embark on an extraordinary adventure.
This is my story as I convert to Judaism.
I wanted to write this blog because as I begin the conversion process, I find that I have become an advocate for Judaism. For some reason, the more I become immersed in the Jewish culture, the more I become a light to others. It’s been quite odd, but I’ve had people who are interested in converting come and ask me about being a Jew, I’ve had Jews who are interested in revisiting the traditions they grew up with and quite frankly a lot of curiosity from my friends and family in Georgia who just can’t understand why someone who was once a self-proclaimed Baptist missionary would all of sudden become a Jew.
I’m just an ordinary person about to embark on an extraordinary adventure. If you choose to come along for the journey, I have one request:
“Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” Camus

Hi Honey,
I just read your February and March stories and loved both of them. I found what you had to say about the Jewish Religion to be very interesting to a Southern Christian like myself.
I love you and support your decisions in whatever you do.
Love,
Mimi
